AIRDRIP is a water enhancement technology that collects condensed water drops from fog promoted by physical surface effects such as
cooling, coalescence and condensation, without any active energy demand. It uses advanced structures and textile materials and
functional surfaces formed by coating processes to accomplish a high-rate of condensation, coalescence and conduction. The inflatable polyhedral structure with modular screens is characterised by higher water yield efficiency of 6 times more water yield than conventional planar fog catchers, which provide 3-10 l/m²/day average of fog occurrence. Its development must be affordable for communities that live in water stress regions worldwide.
