DOT-TO-DOT will enable people to be part of a sharing economy as well as promote new skills within the community. Beneficiary groups are mostly unemployed and pensioners and school/university students, who can offer time & skills in exchange of another services or products. The model of our social innovation brings people from different generations & backgrounds together as they can participate through service exchange (timebank), financial donations or in kind materials and products donations. Everyone in the community can also donate waste materials, resources and even empty spaces for the activities to create and socially engage community. At the same time, the online platform will reach customers outside the community through different marketing channels. DOT-TO-DOT provides access to green spaces, increases environmental awareness & design engagement through timebank exchange, workshops and building projects. The people in the community will collaborate knowing they are accumulating hours in exchange and will learn skills and how to reuse creatively unwanted objects into something useful which can even be sold online through the platform. DOT-TO-DOT is all about sharing different services, skills and interests for the price of time. Housing associations, schools or charities can get support through service exchange and life projects.
