I am an architect, I received a master degree in architecture from the Università degli Studi di Palermo, Italy. During my studies I participated to the Erasmus interchange program and studied for 9 months in the Universidad de Navarra, Pamplona Spain.
In 2005 after the registration within the Italian board of Architects I moved to Glasgow, Scotland attracted by a unique natural environment and following an interest for the countries located in northern areas of Europe.
Here I initially worked for major UK architectural firms then I set up on my own looking at develop a more independent and personal approach to design and projects.
My interest with STUDIOPOP is to explore how design and creative urban solutions as well as the use of new technologies and social media, can enhance communities and generate innovative social interaction and circular economy. Also to experiment on how re-cycling and re-making can be part of a design strategy and be effective solutions in architecture and in urban and social challenges.
