REPLASTICO2 supports global movement FASHION REVOLUTION which advocates fairer, safer, cleaner and more transparent fashion industry.
FASHION REVOLUTION was born after fatal collapse of clothing manufacturing building in Bangladesh on 24th April 2013 which killed 1,138 people and injured another 2,500.
Did you ever think who made your clothes? How many different people were involved in making it and what quality of life they have? Most people rather buy new item than fix the old one. changing patterns of behaviour and consumption results in harsher life condition at the end of fashion production chain, leading to fatal disruptions.
GSA hosted FASHION REVOLUTION week in Glasgow on 23- 29 April celebrates remake and creative upcyle culture.
On 25th April, Wednesday REPLASTICO2 team will be leading workshop on - CREATING PLASTIC TEXTILES FOR ACCESSORIES.
